How to create a bot on Instagram

The Instagram Messaging API only works with business profiles linked to a Facebook page — set this up on Instagram itself beforehand.

Preparing on Instagram's side

• Switch the account to a "Business profile" (or "Creator") in Instagram's settings
• Link it to a Facebook page: Settings → Account → "Linked accounts" → Facebook

Connecting in TvoyBot

• "Create a bot" → Instagram → the manual route
• Click "Login via Instagram for business" and authorize with the account that has the linked page
• Confirm access to messages and comments when the system asks for permissions
