How to create a bot on TikTok

TikTok's Direct Message API is formally still in beta — there are regional restrictions worth knowing about upfront.

• The account must be switched to a TikTok Business Account
• Note: at launch, the feature isn't available everywhere — in particular it's restricted in the EEA, Switzerland, the UK, and the US
• There's a 48-hour window after a user's last message during which you can reply without restrictions — plan your scenarios around that
